Nikita Redkar is a New York based queer comedian, social media influencer, and self-proclaimed professor at Bimbo University. She got her start in comedy in Texas and was a semi-finalist in Austin’s Funniest Person contest. Redkar went on to get her MA in screenwriting from MetFilm School. Nikita’s content is a fun, easily digestible way to educate yourself on current news and policy. Through her clever and witty delivery, she provides accurate explanations that “the girls” can relate to. Nikita currently has around 1 million followers across all social media platforms.

V Spehar is a citizen journalist, content creator, and podcast host. V’s straight to the point delivery and always positive attitude has garnered them over 3 million followers on TikTok, and 235,000 followers on Instagram. Through social media, they have become a go-to news source for members of Gen Z, all from under a desk. Their podcast, “V Interesting,” dives into details about recent news that the traditional media may lack. The podcast debuted at #1 and has continued to chart ever since. V’s unique, comforting video style makes them one of our favorite content creators.

Dan Zimmerman is a content creator who posts objective, accurate explanations of complicated concepts through colorful illustrations and diagrams. His content covers a range of topics from politics and government to videos to sports, and finances. Zimmerman is currently a software engineer, and a former elementary school educator. He currently has around 65,000 followers across all social media platforms.

Jules Terpak

Jules Terpak is a Gen Z content creator whose content surrounds politics, and technology’s current and future impact on our society, with a special focus on Generation Z. She got her start in social media at 10 years old on YouTube. In college, Terpak grew a fitness themed Instagram page that grew to over 100,000 followers. Through her more recent short-form commentary, Jules has made a name for herself within the tech space. She posted her first YouTube video on June 5, 2023, titled “Hey I’m Jules”. In this video, she introduces herself, lays out her expectations for her upcoming long-form content, and Gen Z’s shift from physical presence to online presence. Her most recent video about the current state of social media legislation features co-chairs of Design It For Us, Zamaan Qureshi, and Emma Lembke. Jules currently has around 400,000 followers across all social media platforms.
